Job summary

A leading service and maintenance company in Singapore is seeking a Service Engineer (Mechanical/Generators) to perform servicing, inspections, and maintenance. The candidate should have a diploma in engineering and at least 2 years of related experience, especially in generator servicing. Responsibilities include troubleshooting faults, conducting load tests, and ensuring safety compliance. This permanent position offers a salary up to $4,500 plus AWS and benefits including medical coverage.

Qualifications

Job description
  • Position: Service Engineer (Mechanical/Generators) – Up to $4,500 + AWS

  • Location: East - Ubi (Near Ubi MRT)

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday | 8.30am to 5.30pm & Saturday 8.30am to 12.30pm

  • Salary (commensurate with experience): Salary Up to $4,500 + AWS + Variable Bonus + 14 Days AL + Medical Benefits

  • Duration: Permanent

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled servicing, inspections, and preventive maintenance.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.

  • Conduct load testing, battery checks, and fuel/cooling system maintenance.

  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns for on-site repairs.

  • Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with WSH and safety policies.

  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new generator systems.

Requirements
  • Minimum of Diploma in engineering background with at least 2 years of relevant working experience; preferably in generator servicing, maintenance, and repair.

  • Knowledge of WSH regulations and a strong safety mindset will be an advantage.
