About the job Service Engineer (Marine Engines)

We are looking for an experience Service Engineer for a global leader in advanced engineering. The successful candidate will contribute to the transition towards a carbon-neutral future, offering cutting‑edge solutions across the marine, energy, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate would have 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in heavy equipment manufacturing, marine, or power plant industries. Knowledge of systems accessories and auxiliaries (e.g., separators, coolers, filters) is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement standard maintenance and HSE policies according to established guidelines.
  • Perform commissioning, maintenance, repairs, and services on various machinery, including marine engines and turbochargers.
  • Perform overhauls of various marine engines and turbochargers.
  • Execute assembly preparations and manage the technical aspects of service assignments.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Support the assembly and disassembly of components, providing expert assistance and guidance.
  • Collect and analyze technical data, including work procedures, materials, and spare parts.
  • Provide assistance and collaborate with customers to provide timely support and recommendations.
  • Report incidents and ensure all safety and quality standards are met.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of related experience in the heavy equipment manufacturing/machines, marine industry or power plant.
  • Proficient in reading technical documents, including sketches and cross‑sectional drawings.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively across teams.
  • Able to travel internationally as and when required.
