Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Manager to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with marine equipment, particularly boilers, burners, and their supporting systems, and a strong ability to manage service operations end‑to‑end.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commission, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot marine electrical and mechanical equipment onboard vessels and at company workshops (e.g., burners, boilers, scrubbers, EGE, EBG, GCU, and supporting systems).
  • Travel on short notice within the region, and occasionally globally, to support clients.
  • Ensure compliance with company Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) guidelines and customer site procedures.
  • Prepare service documentation, including time sheets and detailed service reports, highlighting safety issues, spare parts requirements, and recommendations for future services.
  • Proactively recommend spare parts and communicate sales opportunities to Service Managers.
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support to clients.
Job Requirements
  • Experience with boiler and burner systems, and scrubbers (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
  • Basic programming skills in PLCs and parameterization of industrial/marine controllers.
  • Familiarity with automation, control, and instrumentation devices, pumps, motors, frequency converters, actuators, and positioners.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Cross‑cultural awareness and a structured, systematic approach to tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
  • Customer‑focused approach with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively.
