Job summary

A leading technical services company in Singapore is seeking a technician to install, service, and repair equipment onboard vessels. The ideal candidate will hold a diploma in engineering, have at least one year of relevant experience, and possess a positive attitude. Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues and collaborating with senior engineers. This role may require overtime.

• Minimum 1-year working experience in a similar role.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

• Work closely with senior engineers initially and become independent after training.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair equipment onboard vessels
• Load and update software and use technical knowledge to address a variety of technical problems.
• Use the company’s schematics, block diagrams, and manuals to diagnose the fault and recommend relevant spare parts to be changed.
• Work closely with senior engineers as a start but will require to be independent after training
• Upon completion of the service job, write a service report for submission to the ship management or ship owners.
