Overview

Senior Testing and Commissioning Engineer (Ref.No. R1010335) at our location in Singapore (On-Site)

You will enjoy having these responsibilities:

Responsibilities
  1. Design and configure DCS systems based on project specifications and functional requirements
  2. Troubleshoot DCS-related issues during commissioning and operations, including control logic failures, signal mismatches, and communication faults
  3. Define pre-requisites and priorities for Test & Commissioning (T&C) planning
  4. Coordinate the production of T&C documentation and ensure its timely delivery
  5. Manage interfaces with various internal and external stakeholders
  6. Witness or perform specific tests on the system to verify compliance and functionality
  7. Plan and coordinate site testing activities to align with project timelines
  8. Coordinate necessary resources for system tests, ensuring that each entity provides its own staff and equipment
  9. Organize readiness reviews before system testing, and follow up on mandatory corrective actions
  10. Develop and manage action plans to address system malfunctions, aiming to achieve performance targets
  11. Oversee system configuration throughout successive testing phases
  12. Participate in weekly T&C meetings to review requirements and progress
  13. Produce and issue a 4-week lookahead plan for T&C activities
  14. Prepare detailed documentation for test procedures, including method statements
  15. Ensure the site is maintained in a clean and orderly manner at all times
  16. Verify that all requested works comply with local electrical regulations and customer requirements
  17. Prepare marked-up drawings reflecting site conditions and approved modifications
  18. Draft and maintain test procedures and relevant technical documentation
  19. Ensure full compliance with site safety and HSE regulations, and ensure that all team members adhere to these rules
  20. Provide comprehensive support to the T&C Manager by delivering all necessary inputs, data, schedule plan, issue list, KPI reports, etc.
You have
  1. Degree in Electrical Engineering or related
  2. Ability to read schematics and make corrections when necessary
  3. Previous experience in Testing & Commissioning of large rail infrastructure projects (>10 years)
  4. Familiarity with working in and around live electrified railway systems
  5. Hands-on experience with test equipment, including multimeters, scopemeters, etc.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel
  7. Willing to work in night shifts and on call duty
