Job summary

An aviation services company based in Singapore is looking for skilled avionics technicians to test and troubleshoot avionics equipment. The ideal candidates should hold a NITEC or similar qualification in Aerospace Electronics and be able to work rotating shifts. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, maintaining records, and supporting daily production tasks. This role is restricted to Singaporeans only, ensuring a local expertise in servicing military aircraft and avionics systems.

Qualifications

  • NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Aerospace Electronics or equivalent.
  • Technical certificate with relevant experience is acceptable.
  • Able to work in rotating shifts.
  • Singaporeans only.

Job description
Responsibilities:
  • Test and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assemblies, using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, or voltmeters.
  • Test electrical equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning. Troubleshoot equipment or systems operation problems.
  • Install, inspect, test, adjust, or repair avionics equipment, such as radar, radio, navigation, and missile control systems in aircraft.
  • Complete all tasks in the allotted time frame and to the quality standards of our company, our customers and the FAA.
  • Promote safety within the workplace by monitoring others and yourself to guarantee all tasks are performed within the safety manual guidelines, and communicate with other mechanics and supervisors to coordinate repairs and keep apprised of safety concerns.
  • Keep records of maintenance and repair work. Maintain repair or maintenance records.
  • Order supplies, equipment, materials and parts for repairs and general maintenance.
  • Keep detailed records of the inspections performed, repairs finished, maintenance procedures and ordered parts.
  • Carry out servicing (Before Flight/Turn Round/After Flight inspection), schedule servicing, and troubleshooting and defect rectification on military aircrafts.
  • Support daily production and deployable to outstation project works when necessary.
  • Inspection of parts from suppliers conforming to stated specifications.
Requirements:
  • NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Aerospace Electronics/ Aerospace Avionics OR
  • Relevant experience + Technical certificate
  • Able to work rotating shift
