Job description

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and test DCS applications including:
  • Control/Base Layer – development of control logic, sequences, and interlocks.
  • Batch Layer – configuration of batch processes, recipes, and batch control strategies.
  • Graphics/HMI Layer – development of operator displays, dashboards, and alarm management.
• Prepare functional design specifications, control narratives, I/O lists, and system architecture drawings.
• Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and provide timely resolution during project execution.
• Collaborate with project engineers, vendors, and subcontractors to meet technical requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, test reports, and operation manuals.
• Provide post-installation technical support and assist with system maintenance or upgrades.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in DCS engineering (Yokogawa Centum VP preferred), PLC, or SCADA.
• Practical knowledge of control logic, batch process configuration, and HMI/graphics development.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience in process control, instrumentation, and site commissioning.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
