Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of the Painting/Special Coating project estimates
• Forecast and analyze construction costs, exposures, and profits
• Develop the schedule for all phases the painting and coatings work
• Develop and implement project specific processes and procedures associated with Paintings/Coatings
• In conjunction with the Project Superintendent, lead, direct and coordinate the day-to-day management and construction activities
• Manage project costs, through ongoing evaluations of labor, material, and equipment
• Interface with all company departments as necessary to resolve any issue
• Ensure all safety measures, procedures, and requirements are met, followed, and practiced
• Monitor and supervise all vendors or outside contractors to ensure the quality of work and completion of the work before payments are made
• Must be able to supervise a staff of up to 20
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job
• Must carry a phone and be available for on‑call services twenty-four hours
• Must be proficient in general maintenance including plumbing, electricity, painting, drywall, floor coverings, carpentry, locks, appliances, pools & spas, roof, city codes and life safety equipment
