Job description

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible to develop in-house automation application systems and platforms for DevSecOps team. These automation applications are custom suit to reduce manual work, eliminated repetitive process and reduce wastage time for DevOps Central engineers
• These in-house development applications will consist of new development or extension of an existing automation platform. The role is to develop, code, build, deploy and support these in-house applications.
• This automation development role requires candidates to have prior knowledge in DevSecOps CICD tools, integration, interfaces, automation process, technicalities require candidates to be hands on, experienced technical person.
• You design, code, develop and implement automation initiatives, script development and use DevOps tools to the advantage. In this portfolio of DevOps platform, you would also be responsible to maintain all DevOps Enterprise toolsets, OS patching, tools version upgrades, certificate-renewals. You would adopt enterprise monitoring culture. The successful candidate will be a technically savvy, dynamic leader, excellent communicator, have demonstrable technical hand-on supporting DevOps toolset coupled with excellent infrastructure knowledge and automation expertise.
• As part of a cross-functional product development group, you should be comfortable with working as part of highly talented teams ensuring that modern technology and process are utilised as part of the role.

Requirements

Develop DevOps Automation Applications

• Technical development coding to develop new automation applications for DevSecOps
• Automation applications connect to DevOps tools to reduce repeated tasks, cycle time
• A mixture of new development, develop new features on existing and improvement
• Hands on advanced coding experience in full stack development and scripting

DevOps Pipeline Development

• Groovy scripting hands on experience in coding, developing CI/CD build deploy pipelines
• Advanced technical experience in automation with DevOps CI/CD tools
• Advanced technical experience in Containers, Kubernetes, Open Shift Containers Platform
• Advanced technical experience application container build and deployment pipelines

Knowledge of Development and Automation Interfaces

• Advanced development and technical hands-on experience in ReactJS, NodeJS, Java, SQL, Javascript, Typescript, Python, Groovy, Bash
• Advanced technical hands‑on knowledge in DevOps CICD tools APIs (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory)
• Advanced technical hands‑on experience in cloud development platforms such as AWS, Gitlab, Azure

Platform Tool Support

• Prior working experience installing, configuring, integrating, upgrading and patching CI/CD toolset.
• MUST be able to work in stretch example: off-office hours support (weekends, holidays)
• Support DevOps pipelines issues (Build, Scan, Deploy, Run, Test) phases of DevOps
• Debug, troubleshooting, diagnose, fix platforms related issues for DevOps tools

Should:

• Build relationships with DevOps domain champions, development communities and developers
• Comfortable working in a challenging environment
• Able to design a strategy and then execute against it
• Manage delivery of complex projects by simplifying into smaller deliveries

Advantageous

• Extensive background in working with service support teams Infrastructure, Network, Storage, Security, Operations
• Self‑directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
• Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
