Job summary

A leading financial services firm in Singapore is looking for a Senior Relationship Manager to lead institutional sales in cross-border derivatives. You will engage global clients, drive client acquisition initiatives, and ensure smooth trading operations. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience in derivatives sales, possess a relevant degree, and are proficient in both English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

Senior Relationship Manager (Cross-Border Derivatives & Institutional Clients)
Job Responsibilities
  • Lead institutional sales coverage for cross-border OTC derivatives and structured products, focusing on commodity and fixed-income asset classes.
  • Identify, engage, and onboard global institutional and high-net-worth clients (including family offices, hedge funds, and asset managers) through consultative and solution-based sales approaches.
  • Coordinate closely with Trading, Risk Management, Operations, and IT teams to ensure smooth trade execution, client servicing, and post-trade support.
  • Monitor clients’ trading activity, manage credit and margin requirements, and conduct periodic portfolio reviews to ensure proper risk control.
  • Drive client acquisition initiatives through seminars, webinars, and cross-border marketing events in partnership with exchanges and affiliates.
  • Work collaboratively with head-office product teams to deliver integrated cross-border trading solutions.
  • Maintain a strong market sense by tracking global macro trends, pricing dynamics, and regulatory developments relevant to cross-border derivatives.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in derivatives sales, trading, or institutional client coverage, preferably within FICC or structured-product businesses.
  • Familiar with Bond Connect / Swap Connect / OTC derivatives / structured products frameworks and cross-border trading operations.
  • Holder of CMFAS RES 2A licence.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term institutional relationships and deliver tailored trading solutions.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin, due to frequent interaction with China head office and Chinese-speaking clients.
