Job summary

A consultancy firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering. The role involves assisting the Project Manager, managing project progress, and preparing tender documents. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, be organized, and capable of handling stress effectively. Experience in pre and post contract management is beneficial, as well as the ability to analyze engineering drawings and specifications. This is a key position in ensuring project success.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Manager in overseeing the project and monitoring work progress.
  • Attend onsite and consultants’ meetings and liaise with clients and contractors.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to calculate project costs.
  • Prepare documents for Tender and Contracts.
  • Measure and take off quantities.
  • Administer pre and post contract and consultancy work.
  • Assess variation orders, prepare interim valuations, cost plans and budget studies.
  • Compile contract documents for execution.
  • Understand and adhere to statutory regulations.
  • Analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
  • Valuing completed work and arrange payments.
  • Provide advice on contractual claims.
