Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management, contract administration, and project estimation activities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring effective cost control and supporting the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare cost estimates, budget forecasts, and tender submissions
  • Manage pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties
  • Evaluate and review project specifications, drawings, and bills of quantities (BQ)
  • Conduct cost analysis, measure quantities, and prepare cost breakdowns
  • Handle progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts
  • Review subcontractor quotations and manage procurement processes
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow to ensure cost efficiency
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide guidance to junior QS staff and support project cost planning activities
  • Participate in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant QS experience (preferably in Singapore construction industry)
  • Strong knowledge of BCA regulations, contract administration, and construction methodologies
  • Proficient in quantity-taking software and MS Office applications
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
