Responsibilities

1. Responsible for efficient management of company’s QA/QC department.
2. To lead, implement and follow through on requirements of management systems for ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001.
3. Responsible for maintenance of ASME S, U, U2 certificates of authorization.
4. Responsible for maintenance of NBIC NB and R certificates of authorization.
5. Overall in charge of the company quality management system, including monitoring and control of the implementation of company’s QMS by the relevant departments, conduct internal audit annually, update and revise on the manual wherever necessary and follow up on rectification required by various department and ensure proper records keeping.
6. Supervise and provide direction to QA/QC team for quality operations, and ensure that Inspections are carried out promptly and documented, with submissions are done within deadline.
7. Liaise with other department heads for any critical issues and information which will be beneficial for the improvement of quality and operational efficiency.
8. Ensure that quality requirements demanded by clients are meet per required codes, standards, specifications and contracts.
9. Be on the company’s environmental and safety committee and ensure company’s EHS management system requirements are met.
10. To ensure that departmental staff are provided with the required training for their daily work.
11. To recommend/propose improvements to company’s system or equipment.
