A leading manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a qualified professional to manage their Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) department. The role involves monitoring daily operations, establishing quality management systems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the manufacturing sector, along with knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015. Strong leadership, report writing skills, and a good command of English are essential for success in this role.
1. To monitor the SHEQ department daily operation.
2. To establish, update and maintain Safety, Quality & Environment Management Systems or Manuals (ISO and UN Cert).
3. Responsible for the Management Review meetings in relation to all Management Systems with the all departments.
4. Implementation and monitoring of Mauser's EHS Management System procedures together with legal and local EHS requirements.
5. Being focal point for customer audit.
6. Assure attainment of business objectives as a team.
7. Establish group and individual accountabilities throughout assigned departments for problem solving and cost reduction, both on a permanent and ad‑hoc basis, depending on need and encourage use of new techniques and focus on fact based problem solving.
8. Work with production team to ensure product standards that will meet our customers’ expectations.
9. Work to establish management practices throughout assigned areas which include all employees’ positive involvement with opportunity for construction input and action.
10. Maintain and ensure work safety and practices. Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes.
11. Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas.
12. Schedule and communicate information on external Quality Management System audits.
13. Prepare and implement the internal audit and external audit schedule in relation to Quality Management System.
14. To assess and control non‑conformities, including maintenance of appropriate documentation and records.
15. Handle customer complaint and control of all non‑conforming products. Perform root cause failure analysis for customer complaints and product serviceability issues.
16. To monitor quality of product beginning with raw material, processes and up to the finished product.
17. To perform destructive and non‑destructive tests in the frame of the quality plan.
18. To implement a QC plan to bring day to day operation under control in terms of product dimensions and parameters including product cosmetic.
19. To work with procurement team to control and assess suppliers and maintenance of Approved Suppliers Records.
20. Develop and maintain effective communication link with the workforce and the management.
21. Ensure a high level of discipline is established and maintained within the operation and take effective action in the event of deviations.
22. Prepare, present and review operational performance and develop action plan for corrective, preventive and improvement.
Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.
Design, develop & delivers in‑house quality assurance, health and safety training programmes for new and existing employees.
Work with consultants and contractors on related Safety & Environment.
Ensure the preparation and timely issue of all reports including accidents/incidents/complaints/leakers, including investigation.
Perform periodic inspections/audits and keep records and follow up decisions/actions to be taken.
Participate risk assessments studies, and update them as and when required.
29. Participates on Factory Monthly Review Meeting with production, maintenance, logistic and planner department.
30. To maintain 5S at work place.
31. Checking process monitoring if absent of the inspector.
32. Any other ad‑hoc tasks to be assigned by the Management from time to time.
33. Prohibited direct contact and liaise with customers unless approved

1. Minimum 5 years working experience in manufacturing sector.
2. Knowledge and experience in management and control of workforce.
3. Knowledge and experience in ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 Quality Management System.
4. Report writing.
5. Able to plan and delegate.
6. Able to work under pressure.
7. Computer literate.
8. Good command / written in English.
1. At least Diploma / Degree in Material, Science, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering disciplines.
1. Approve all Purchase Requisition.
2. Approve Overtime and Leave application for subordinate staff.
3. Approved Performance Appraisal of subordinates.
