Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (Interior & Architecture Construction) to lead and oversee high-quality interior and architectural construction projects from planning through completion.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage interior and architectural construction projects end-to-end, from pre-contract to post-handover stages, ensuring delivery of high-quality outcomes
- Develop and oversee detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies to achieve timely and cost-effective project completion
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, coordinating resources and priorities to meet deadlines and client expectations
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure alignment and efficient execution of project tasks
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies during site activities
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, schedules, and progress reports to track milestones and inform stakeholders
- Lead site and coordination meetings to define scope of work, establish timelines, and clarify contractor requirements for seamless project execution
- Collaborate with internal designers, sales teams, vendors, and project teams to facilitate smooth pre-site preparation and on-site operations
- Manage contracts, variations, and cost control measures to maintain budget integrity throughout project lifecycle
- Assist in preparing tender documentation, pricing proposals, and client development initiatives as needed
- Ensure quality workmanship by proactively resolving project issues and aligning deliverables with client expectations
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to project teams to foster professional growth and high performance
- Operate independently across project management, site supervision, and stakeholder engagement functions to drive project success
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Architecture or equivalent
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience managing interior fit-out projects, especially in commercial and office design & build environments
- Minimum 5 years of experience in interior fit-out projects for commercial and corporate office sectors
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and technical details relevant to interior and architectural projects
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with subcontractors and site workers to facilitate project coordination
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage teams and stakeholders
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and perform effectively under tight deadlines
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Knowledge of design software and AutoCAD is an added advantage
