Job description

Our client is looking for a results-driven Project Engineer to support the Project Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the project meets its time, cost, quality, and safety targets while delivering high standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in achieving project objectives by managing site activities and enforcing project quality, safety, and compliance standards.
• Provide regular updates on site progress and highlight any potential issues or delays.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, Schindler Organizational Norms, and quality requirements as outlined in the Top Range Excellence / Fulfilment Plus process.
• Perform and maintain progressive product line installation checklists.
• Conduct toolbox meetings at least twice per month.
• Monitor overall installation and Testing & Commissioning (T&C) timelines; propose recovery plans if needed.
• Lead weekly site meetings with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with quality standards and workmanship expectations.
• Verify the quality and quantity of subcontractor work.
• Develop and maintain a detailed work schedule to ensure timely task completion.
• Resolve technical discrepancies and coordinate with the drawing team to address design or site challenges.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant site or project engineering experience, preferably with supervisory exposure.
• Experience in local construction practices, ideally within mixed-use or large-scale residential developments.
