Brief Summary:
Join a dynamic team providing exceptional support and technical expertise for electric heavy material handling equipment and port machinery across the Asia Pacific region. This role involves troubleshooting, project leadership, and collaboration to enhance product reliability and performance.

Responsibilities
  • Provide liaison and support to partners and customers, addressing technical issues with vehicle and component manufacturers.
  • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and electrical system upgrades on electric vehicles, including high-voltage components and control systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to inspect new vehicles, diagnose problems, and propose solutions.
  • Conduct diagnostics and firmware updates using handheld and laptop-based communication tools to support vehicle control units and battery management systems.
  • Assess electrical components and software failures, working with manufacturers to address warranty and service issues promptly.
  • Verify and update technical documentation including drawings and instruction manuals.
  • Recommend best practices and implement initiatives focused on cost savings and safety to improve vehicle reliability.
  • Lead projects related to electrical drivetrains, control systems, and battery aspects of vehicles, including reliability improvements.
  • Contribute technical insights to manufacturers aimed at enhancing product quality.
  • Engage in business development activities for new products.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electric heavy equipment, commercial vehicles, port machinery, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with Lithium electric commercial vehicles or heavy machinery is preferred.
  • Ability to read and analyze electrical and hydraulic circuit diagrams, as well as mechanical drawings for system checks and troubleshooting.
  • Intermediate knowledge of hydraulic systems, with support from other engineers available.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills for interaction with peers and clients; must demonstrate a self-starter attitude and be a collaborative team player.
  • Willingness to travel regionally, with over 50% travel expected.
