Job summary
A leading engineering consultancy in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the planning and design of mechanical engineering works for building services and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate has at least 6 years of relevant experience, strong supervisory and project management skills, and knowledge of local codes. Proficiency in AutoCAD or Autodesk Revit is advantageous. Competitive compensation offered.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
- Preferably 6 years and above relevant experience in Mechanical engineering design for building services and infrastructure works.
- Conversant with local codes and regulations, and authority submission procedures.

Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading the planning and design of Mechanical engineering works for building services and infrastructure works.
- Review reports, specifications, calculations, drawings and other documents prepared for the different stages of a project.
- Supervise the installation, testing and commissioning of Mechanical engineering works.
- Work together with other disciplines in feasibility studies and design, as well as to ensure excellent service delivery to Clients.
- Job Title will correspond with project experience acquired and individual competency in technical knowledge/skills, project management and contract administration.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
- Preferably 6 years and above relevant experience in Mechanical engineering design for building services and infrastructure works.
- Good working experience in a consulting firm with a proven track record in major development projects.
- Conversant with local codes and regulations, and authority submission procedures.
- Strong planning, organizational and supervisory skills.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit is advantageous.
