Job summary

A leading energy company in Singapore is seeking a Planning Assistant to support project planning and execution efforts. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of experience in the Marine and Oil & Gas industry, strong knowledge of Primavera Project Planner, and is skilled in producing detailed project schedules. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with project teams and involves preparing progress reports for clients.

Qualifications

• More than 3 years working experience in Marine, Oil & Gas industry.
• Knowledge of oil and gas and offshore industry particularly on EPC projects.
• Ability to provide tenders support when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Planning Manager in the development of detailed EPC schedule.
• Prepare progress reports for submission to the Client.
• Highlight critical activities and potential delays to the PMT.

Overview

Assisting the Planning Manager during projection execution to develop, monitor and report on the work.

Job Accountabilities

• Assist the Planning Manager in the development of detailed EPC schedule and related procedures and reports.
• Reporting to the Planning Manager during project execution.
• Preparation of the progress reports for submission to the Client.
• Working with the PMT in highlighting critical activities and potential delays.
• Working closely with the Planning Manager/ Lead to ensure that project needs are taken care of.
• Participate in regular meeting with project team and subcontractors with regards to project progress.
• Providing tenders support to the department when required.

Other features of job

• Occasional overtime work with long hours required.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education (Engineering)
• Good knowledge of Primavera Project Planner and MS Office software.
• Interpreting schedule criticality applying both the schedule analysis and logical assessment.
• Knowledge of oil and gas and offshore industry particularly on EPC projects.
• More than 3 years working experience in Marine, Oil & Gas industry with knowledge in the use of project management software such as Primavera v15.1 and above
