Senior Planner, Regional Network Planning based in Singapore

Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining technical equipment and machinery within the service center. This role ensures high-quality repairs that comply with departmental KPIs and QARA requirements, supporting Smith & Nephew in strengthening long‑term customer relationships and maximizing equipment value.
What will you be doing?
- Perform formal and schedule data analysis to determine optimal inventory balances for assigned markets.
- Manage and maintain any inventory initiatives regionally with data and analysis.
- Interface with global planners, master planners, and management to support regional inventory initiatives.
- Monitors end customer service levels in the countries served by the APAC hub and recommends changes in inventory policy where needed.
- Governing the countries requirements and ensure adequate supply to support the business.
- Interface with countries to gather market intelligence, like forecast trending, tenders as well as NPL, to support the business.
- To provide guidance to countries to review the parameters like safety stocks, lead time, etc.
- Develop consistent and repeatable processes for the extraction of data and computation of Global KPIs and other reports as required.
- Support department initiatives through, using of analytical tools and data sources, to provide fair and accurate information for good decision making.
- Complies with all HSE and quality policies and procedures as required by job function and completes all required HSE and quality training.
- Support or lead any supply chain related projects.
- Initiating any process improvement related projects.
What will you need to be successful?
Success in the role will requires a combination of technical knowledge, soft skills, and a deep understanding of both the business and service‑providing sides of an organization.
Successful candidates would need the following
- Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Administration in Logistics, Operations, Statistics, Finance, or equivalent work experience requiring mathematical / statistical analysis, inventory replenishment and / or material planning.
- APICS CSCP or CPIM certified a plus.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in operational roles.
