Job summary

A healthcare staffing agency in Singapore is looking for a Registered Nurse to provide individualized nursing care. The ideal candidate must possess at least 3 years of nursing experience, be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board, and have experience in hospital or hospice settings. Responsibilities include delivering safe care, maintaining documentation standards, and coordinating with care teams. Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in general nursing care.
  • Experience in hospital or hospice settings is an added advantage.
  • Exposure to Oncology, Palliative Care, Geriatrics, or Gerontology disciplines is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, competent, and individualised nursing care based on patient needs.
  • Maintain nursing standards in documentation, treatment, monitoring, and infection control.
  • Manage and allocate medical equipment and consumables efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and care teams.
  • Coordinate patient care with physicians and support multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Comply with protocols for drug and medical supply storage and implement safety measures.
  • Document patient conditions, referrals, and interventions accurately.
  • Monitor patient progress to support care planning and family coping.
  • Administer medications and perform wound care.
  • Ensure continuity of care through follow-up on treatment plans.
  • Maintain a safe, organised, and confidential patient care environment.
  • Mentor junior staff and support their development.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore Nursing Board standards and industry guidelines.
  • Uphold housekeeping standards and contribute to continuous improvement.
