Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking a skilled professional with Murex system expertise to join its team. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience in the Front office of the Mx 3.1 platform, focusing on transaction processing systems in financial markets. Responsibilities include requirement gathering and designing pricing templates while working closely with the Front Office business to build capabilities in the Murex system. Strong analytical skills and experience with trade lifecycle management are essential for supporting the upgrade initiative.

Qualifications

Project Description:

One of our client (a leading bank of Singapore) is undertaking a strategic upgrade of its Murex MX.3 platform to enhance system resilience, support new product capabilities, and align with evolving regulatory and operational requirements. This initiative includes upgrading from version 3.1.42.48b to 3.1.6x.x, onboarding the EQA and OSP Excess modules, and implementing comprehensive reconciliation, testing automation, and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities
  • Requirement gathering and design of layouts and pricing templates
  • Responsible for working on SQL/Store procedure reports
  • Review & Implement business changes
  • Document Functional, Technical Specification and Test Cases for integration
  • Produce exception reports for failures
  • Configure and Build Murex Reports for reports based interfaces
Mandatory Skills
  • 4-8 years of experience in Murex system in Front office of Mx 3.1 platform
  • Proven experience of working on scalable, resilient transaction processing systems in the Financial markets
  • A strong analytical and logical approach to problem solving and system development.
  • Very strong exposure to all the asset class
  • Strong exposure of trade lifecycle across front office, back office and middle office tiers
  • Detailed knowledge of Murex Front office module
  • Responsible for doing Requirement Analysis in Front Office space for various asset classes
  • Responsible for doing an initial analysis of existing production data and existing test cases suite
  • Ability to analyze and understand product requirements and offer solutions and support to facilitate the rollouts.
  • Work closely with Front Office business to design and build pricing and booking capabilities in Murex system.
  • Participate with internal business partners on cross functional projects to provide STP solutions for pricing, distribution and execution capabilities.
  • Murex upgrade related report development & reconciliation experience.
