Job summary

An established shipbuilding company in Singapore seeks an EHS Officer to maintain the organization’s EHS management system. The candidate will support departments in compliance with safety regulations, conduct audits, and develop safety management policies. A diploma/degree in EHS or Engineering and 3 years of experience in EHS roles are required, alongside strong leadership and analytical skills. This role is open to Singapore Citizens only.

Qualifications

• Possess 3 years' experience in EHS role.
• Possess Hotwork Assessor Certification & Confined Space Assessor Certification are added advantage.
• Good understanding of Workplace Safety & Health Act & Shipbuilding & Ship Repairs regulation.

Responsibilities

• Supports project & department to comply with EHS regulations & policies.
• Stay up-to-date on changes to safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure a safe work environment.
• Prepare reports and presentations on safety performance.
• Plan and execute safety management system audits.
• Organise and conduct EHS inspection on projects.
