Job Summary

Lead Manufacturing Engineering for the new site to build robust, cost-effective manufacturing and production processes that support business objectives. Drive the site's strategic transition into a highly connected Smart Factory, ensuring engineering readiness, compliance, and operational excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop Manufacturing Engineering activities to meet site targets, quality, cost, and delivery standards.
  • Define and implement manufacturing standards and systems (e.g. OEE, Andon, Manufacturing Standard Work) to support operations.
  • Serve as the primary technical interface with customers, auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders; lead engineering input for NPI reviews.
  • Establish and govern engineering methods, processes, and procedures to achieve technical and business goals.
  • Drive alignment to the site engineering strategy across process planning, programming, tooling, and inspection.
  • Support audits, investigations, and critical customer escape responses.
  • Ensure engineering projects execute in line with the annual operating plan and financial commitments.
  • Track technology trends and recommend investments in equipment, systems, and automation to enhance production capability.
  • Manage engineering budgets, resources, and performance to optimize cost and effectiveness.
  • Lead implementation of the CORE Operating System, progressing toward Gold certification.
  • Build strong partnerships across internal teams, external partners, and overseas sites.
  • Develop technical talent and succession plans to build strong bench strength (for Lead/Manager roles).
  • Maintain the site Technological Control Plan (TCP) and ensure export compliance, in collaboration with Global Trade.
