Job Description

We seek a high-energy, self-motivated, results-driven individual for the role of NAND Equipment Development Films Sr. Manager/Lead. This leader will oversee a team of engineers to identify, prioritize, and implement equipment solutions within a 15-month cadence, focusing on yield, reliability, and cost for NAND technology nodes during development and production phases.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and proactive practices.
  • Hire, develop, mentor, and manage a team of skilled equipment engineers.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and resilience to meet accelerated technology timelines.
  • Provide performance feedback, support professional growth, and participate in Micron’s performance review processes.
  • Define equipment strategies and roadmaps for future technology nodes.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop equipment that meets Micron’s technological needs.
  • Work with process and manufacturing teams to align projects and deliver high-volume capable equipment on schedule.
  • Enable first-of-a-kind equipment capacity for transfer, ramp-up, and maturation to meet technical criteria.
  • Coordinate with procurement and global teams to enhance equipment effectiveness across operations.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with local and international partners, adhering to IP policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
  • At least 5 years in the semiconductor industry, with experience in PCVD/Diffusion and/or Implant equipment.
  • Proven success in project management and leading process engineering teams.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to take calculated risks and challenge conventional solutions.
  • Excellent mentorship, team-building, and technical skills, with a focus on feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic thinking aligned with leadership team priorities, fostering a positive work culture.
