The Role

The incumbent will oversee the full spectrum of financial management and governance for our F&B operations. This role is responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring strong internal controls and providing strategic insights to support business growth, cost optimisation and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities for food and beverage operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory management, and cash handling.

• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies with accuracy and efficiency.

• Prepare monthly financial reports, including income statements and balance sheet schedules.

• Review and analyze the accounts receivable aging report, implementing proactive strategies to accelerate collections.

• Ensure robust financial governance and maintain strong internal controls across all F&B financial processes.

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for F&B operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Provide insightful monthly financial analysis to support reporting and identify opportunities for operational and financial improvement.

• Support cost-benefit analyses and financial simulations to evaluate business cases and strategic initiatives.

• Collaborate closely with operations, procurement and commercial teams to drive profitability, optimise costs and enhance overall business performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent; Chartered Accountant qualification preferred.

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including hands-on exposure to F&B finance operations and POS systems.

• Strong proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and SAP Hana accounting systems.

• Proven ability to manage and mentor direct reports in daily operations.

• Solid understanding of internal control frameworks and compliance requirements.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management capabilities.
