Overview

A large enterprise environment is seeking a Senior / Manager-level IT Business Analyst with strong SAP Finance experience to support enterprise finance systems, transformation initiatives, and ongoing BAU operations. This role partners closely with Finance and IT teams to translate business needs into scalable system solutions, drive user-centric design, and optimise end-to-end finance processes.

This is a hands-on role suited for experienced BAs who are comfortable operating across business analysis, solution support, and stakeholder management in a complex, structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance and IT stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and use cases
• Apply design thinking and user-centric approaches to solution design and process improvement
• Analyse current-state finance processes and design optimised future-state workflows
• Support solution design by working closely with SAP functional, technical, and integration teams
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving SAP Finance-related issues
• Support BAU operations and change requests, ensuring alignment with business and compliance needs
• Prepare and maintain documentation including functional specifications, test scripts, and user guides
• Support testing activities, including test planning and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Required Experience

• 8–10+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst / Systems Analyst
• Strong experience supporting SAP Finance in an enterprise environment
• Hands-on exposure to SAP Finance configuration, business processes, and cross-module integrations
• Experience working across Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders across Finance and IT
