About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Human Resources professional to play a pivotal role in shaping the people strategy and culture at the Singapore National Employers Federation. Reporting to the Director overseeing HR and Administration, you will provide leadership in developing, reviewing, and implementing HR policies and practices that support organisational growth and excellence.
You will partner closely with the HR, Administration, and Procurement team and senior management to drive initiatives that strengthen talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning and development, and organisational capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full spectrum of HR and Administration functions including recruitment, compensation and benefits, payroll, performance management, and employee relations.
- Drive talent acquisition and internship strategies to attract and retain high-potential candidates.
- Develop and implement comprehensive Learning & Development frameworks, including needs assessment, training plans, and budget management, to build organisational capability.
- Champion initiatives to enhance employee engagement, well-being, and retention.
- Oversee manpower planning, budgeting, reporting, and HR audits.
- Review and enhance HR and Administration policies, processes, and guidelines to ensure compliance with employment laws and alignment with best practices.
- Provide secretariat support for the HR Committee and contribute to strategic HR projects and transformation initiatives.
- Support Administration and Procurement functions as required.
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role, with proven ability to manage both operational and strategic HR functions.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws, HR-related regulations and guidelines, and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with experience in HR metrics, budget management, and data analysis.
- Experience in payroll administration; familiarity with Info-Tech HRM system is desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Preferably IHRP-certified or equivalent professional accreditation.
