Are you a finance professional who thrives on variety and impact? Join SingHealth Community Hospitals as a Senior Manager, Finance, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy across our community hospital operations and health fund initiatives.

This is a unique dual-capacity role where you'll oversee financial operations for Outram Community Hospital (OCH) and the SCH Health Fund, whilst managing grant applications from both perspectives - providing financial guidance for SCH grant submissions, and evaluating applications on behalf of the SCH Health Fund Committee. If you enjoy wearing multiple hats and making a tangible difference in healthcare financing, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do
  • Drive month-end and year-end financial closings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across OCH and SCH Health Fund operations
  • Prepare insightful financial analyses and variance reports that inform management decisions
  • Lead the annual budget cycle, working closely with business units to develop sustainable financial plans
  • Develop compelling grant budgets and applications to secure funding for SCH programmes
  • Review and evaluate grant applications for the SCH Health Fund Committee, ensuring alignment with funding guidelines
  • Provide secretariat support for Committee meetings, including minute-taking and materials preparation
  • Monitor grant claims and financial reporting to ensure compliance and sustainability
Audit & Compliance
  • Coordinate external and internal audits, serving as the key liaison with auditors
  • Maintain robust internal controls and design improvements where gaps are identified
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
Team Development
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualification
  • At least 8 years of progressive finance experience with strong financial planning and analysis capabilities
  • Minimum 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
  • Proven track record in management reporting and in-depth variance analysis
  • Experience coordinating audits and working with external/internal auditors
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and financial risk management
Highly Valued
  • Experience in grant management or funding applications
  • Familiarity with SAP financial modules and BPC (or similar budgeting systems)
  • Membership in professional bodies (ISCA, ACCA)
