Senior Business Finance Manager – APAC

Your new role

As a Senior Business Finance Manager, you will lead financial planning, analysis, and decision support to drive commercial performance and growth across the APAC region. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the end-to-end finance planning calendar, coordinate and consolidate inputs from APAC markets, and ensure timely, accurate delivery of Anchor Budget/Rolling Estimate (AB/RE) submissions and Business Services & Compliance (BSC) processes.
  • Conduct in-depth competitive, patient, and in-market sales performance analyses to inform forecasting, pricing optimization, market access, and commercial decision‑making.
  • Support launch readiness and go‑to‑market activities for new products by performing market analyses, tracking commercial performance, and advising on resource allocation to maximize uptake.
  • Guide regional office budgeting and closing processes, ensuring alignment with group reporting timelines and high‑quality financial controls.
  • Serve as Finance Executive Assistant to the Head of Finance & Operations by coordinating preparation and follow‑up for Business Reviews, Board briefings, and regional leadership meetings.
  • Partner with local finance teams and regional functional heads to enable smooth planning cycles, transparent follow‑ups, and effective decision‑making across commercial, medical, and operations teams.
  • Leverage Excel Power Query, Power BI, IQVIA and other tools to run improvement projects, share best practices, and strengthen business intelligence, ad‑hoc analyses, and executive presentations for APAC leadership.
Your new department

As the Senior Business Finance Manager, you will join the Finance and Operations Department, reporting to Head of Business Finance. Our team is focused on planning and finance business partnering of the organization, ensuring transparency in performance against short and long‑term targets and we work closely with local and global management to drive value creation for the company. The department is located at our APAC Regional Office in Singapore, where we foster a collaborative and fast‑paced atmosphere.

Your skills & qualifications

We’re looking for a candidate who will enjoy working in a high‑paced, dynamic environment. You’ll bring with you:

  • Preferably an MBA or master’s degree in finance or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are an advantage.
  • Minimum 8‑10 years in finance roles, including at least 3 years within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
  • Strong proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, with excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and proven experience with Power Query and Power BI for reporting and data analysis.
  • A strong influencer with independent thinking, excellent planning/prioritization skills, and a “can‑do,” play‑to‑win mindset.
