Job description

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world‑renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature‑based experiences, green public spaces and an eco‑friendly resort.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for the planning, development, and delivery of engaging content and experiences for children aged 3–12, with a primary focus on Ranger Buddies, Ranger Buddies Quest, Curiosity Cove, and other kid‑centric experiences in Mandai Precinct (e.g. KidzWorld). The role supports Mandai’s mission of inspiring conservation through play and storytelling, while ensuring content is operationally viable, commercially sound, and aligned with IP standards. This position works closely with internal stakeholders, including Mandai X (MX), to manage IP requirements, budgets, and royalties, and plays a key role in executing approved strategies rather than setting overall direction.

Content Development, Planning & Programming
  • Plan, develop, and refresh Ranger Buddies content, including Ranger Buddies Quest, ensuring relevance, engagement, and age appropriateness for children aged 3–12.
  • Support the design and execution of content and experiences within Curiosity Cove, KidzWorld, and other child‑focused indoor attractions.
  • Translate approved concepts and creative direction into practical, executable programmes that balance storytelling, learning, and fun.
  • Work with Education, Operations, and Creative teams to ensure content is accurate, engaging, and operationally feasible.
IP & Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with Mandai X (MX) to manage Ranger Buddies IPstandards, brand guidelines, and approval processes
  • Coordinate IP submissions, feedback cycles, and approvals to ensure timely delivery of content and experiences
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Education, Operations, Marketing, Licensing, Communications, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment across planning and execution
Operational & Budget Management
  • Support budget planning, monitoring for content and programming initiatives
  • Consolidate and report Ranger Buddies IP revenue performance and royalties
  • Exercise cost control and work with Finance and Procurement to ensure spending remains within approved budgets
Programme Delivery & Continuous Improvement
  • Manage the end‑to‑end delivery of approved programmes, from planning and coordination through to execution and post‑implementation review
  • Review guest and operational feedback to support continuous improvement and refinement of content and experiences
Collaboration & Capability Building
  • Support cross‑functional initiatives to enhance guest engagement, repeat visitation and ancillary revenue opportunities through content and programming
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to support longer‑term content planning under the guidance of senior leadership
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, Arts, Education, Hospitality, or a related discipline
  • At least 8 -10 years of relevant experience with demonstrated ownership of children programmes or IP‑based content
  • Experience working with licensed Ips, brand guidelines or structured approval processes is preferred
  • Good financial acumen with experience in budget tracking, cost control or royalty management
  • Experience in children’s attractions, family entertainment, museums or education‑based environment is an advantage
  • Demonstrate strong ownership and accountability, with ability to work independently while navigating ambiguity ad change
  • Collaborative and influential and able to work effectively across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Detail‑oriented yet able to think holistically, ensuring hight standards in content quality and guest experience.
  • Able to balance between creativity with operational and commercial realities.
