Job description

The Senior Laboratory Assistant will be responsible for supporting quality control and laboratory operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, safety, and efficiency of lab processes, while also mentoring junior team members.

Working Location: Jurong Island

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Office hours), 8AM to 4.30PM

Transport Pick-up: Near Jurong East MRT

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform raw material, in-process, and finished product quality control analyses.
  • Carry out advanced maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
  • Manage inventory of chemicals and consumables, including preparation and standardization of reagents.
  • Oversee chemical waste management and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
  • Maintain quality records and contribute to the development of quality procedures.
  • Train and guide junior laboratory or chemical technicians.
  • Conduct risk assessments and participate in quality and safety audits.
  • Handle procurement of laboratory materials and monitor budget usage.
  • Drive and implement QA and safety initiatives.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma in Chemical Process Technology, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
