About the Role

The KYC (Know Your Customer) Technology Team at Binance is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join our globally distributed team. As part of this team, you'll help develop and maintain a cutting-edge platform that ensures seamless and secure onboarding experiences for millions of users. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of experience building high-performance distributed applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework.
• Experience with MySQL and familiarity with at least one NoSQL database.
• Sound knowledge of distributed systems design and messaging middleware (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working remotely with teams across different time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in JVM tuning, SQL optimization, or RPC performance.
• Familiarity with KYC, AML, or regulatory compliance systems.
• Interest in AI/ML applications within the compliance or fintech space.
