Key Responsibilities

Reporting and Closing

• Involve in month-end closing activities
• Prepare MAS returns.
• Assist in corporate tax पूजा
• Perform PL analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support testing of systems and processes impacting the flow of Shakeha financial information.
• Respond to audit and regulator queries on a timely basis.
• Any other ad‑hoc duties or projects as assigned.

Key Experience / Requirements / Skills:

Education & Experience

• Degree in Accounting or qualified by experience in related discipline.
• Possess 3‑5 years of professional working experience in audit or commercial with General Insurance Industry.
• Experience in MAS reporting and Corporate tax.
• Proven understanding of standard accounting (GAAP & IFRS) for insurance and reinsurance.
• Knowledge in SAP or any ERP system will be an added advantage.
• Project and team work in a dynamic and international environment.

General Skills

• Good Analytical Thinking and Numeracy.
• Ability to identify and initiate appropriate actions to remediate issues that can be abstract / ambiguous and follow through on their remediation.
• Strong Communication and writing skills.
• Fluent in English; fluency in any other language is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Legal and Regulatory Framework: comprehensive knowledge of local GAAP, IAS/IFRS, regulatory, tax with regards to reporting, compliance and declaration.
• Understanding insurance financial statements and their performance Sung measurement including Drivers.
• The ability to utilize AI tools to support day‑to‑day tasks, improve efficiency, and contribute to data‑driven decision‑making is valuable.
