An interior contracting firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior Finance Manager / Finance Manager to manage the full spectrum of financial accounting. Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with GST, IRAS, ACRA and BCA requirements.
• Prepare GST returns and statutory submissions.

Job description

We are an interior contracting A&A firm on the path of growth. We are inviting an experienced and self-motivated individual to join our fast expansion team as Senior Finance Manager / Finance Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of financial accounting and reporting of the Company, while also playing a key role in maintaining and enforcing internal controls, accounting policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Manage day-to-day financial operations including AP, AR, GL, and monthly/year-end closing, ensuring data integrity and accounting accuracy
• Prepare timely and accurate management reports and rolling cash flow projections
• Monitor project costing, progress claims, variations and billings. Work closely with project teams to ensure timely and accurate cost capture
• Ensure compliance with GST, IRAS, ACRA and BCA requirements
• Prepare GST returns, statutory submissions and supporting schedules.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial and statutory records
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and external parties
• Assist in maintaining and enforcing internal controls and accounting policies and procedures
• Supervise and guide junior Finance staff in daily operations
• Support the Management on budget process, ad-hoc finance projects and management requests

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting and statutory regulations
• Hands-on experience in project accounting and cost control
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently

Remuneration

$6,000 to $8,000 monthly (commensurate with experience)
