Senior Finance Executive (Accounts Payable)

📍 MapleTree Business City (Labrador Park) | 🕒 11-months Contract

My client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Finance Executive to join our Finance team on an 11-month contract. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely, accurate vendor payments while maintaining strong internal controls and supporting finance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and verify vendors’ invoices to ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Process invoices accurately and on time in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Verify employee expense claims to ensure proper documentation, approvals, and compliance with internal policies
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and claimants to resolve discrepancies efficiently
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, reporting, and audit schedule preparation
  • Participate in finance-related projects such as process automation and system enhancements
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support ad-hoc finance duties as required
Requirements
  • Degree in Accountancy or related discipline
  • At least 5 years of relevant Accounts Payable or Finance experience
  • Familiarity with Workday is an added advantage
  • Strong data analytics skills will be highly valued
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Meticulous, well-organised, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive working attitude and a strong team player
