Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Senior Executive (Finance) supports the financial operations of the organization by assisting in the preparation of financial reports, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role involves working closely with senior finance staff to manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and support audits. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow within the finance function.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily finance operations related to accounts payables, staff claims, accounts receivables and general ledger.
  • Check all data accuracy prior posting into the accounting system.
  • Reconcile daily bank payments and receipts with the daily cash book.
  • Reconcile sub-ledger against vendors’ statements and Customer SOA prior sending out.
  • Prepare monthly GL journal entries for accounting month-end closing.
  • Prepare monthly inter-company reconciliation and confirmation.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial schedules including Balance Sheet’s items reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Knowledge of indirect taxes like GST, withholding tax compliance.
  • Experience in handling queries and reports from government and statutory bodies.
  • Must be hands‑on in resolving all relevant accounting issues promptly and independently.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and constantly seeks improvement.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage competing priorities within deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in Oracle NetSuite (preferred) or other accounting information systems.
