• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent worker, able to make rational decisions and provide guidance.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate all shipment operations with overseas offices and local contractors
• To keep customers and all parties promptly informed on shipment progress (collection, shipping date, arrival date, etc.)
• Process and prepare shipments within the system and ensure declared permits comply with Singapore Customs regulations
• Familiar with regulations for various Singapore Authorities (eg: SFA, NParks, HSA, NEA etc)
• Data entry of shipment details, invoices, etc. into the in-house operations system
• Other related operational duties as required
• Report to Operations Manager

Requirements

• Must hold at least a Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or related field
• Minimum 3 – 5 years of working experience in an International Freight Forwarding Company
• Proficient in MS Office
• Knowledgeable in Export procedures for Air & Sea freight
• Knowledge of Tradenet and Sysfreight preferred
• Pro-active
• Ability to motivate & manage a dynamic service-oriented team with leadership skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Customer-oriented and problem solving
• Good written and spoken English
• Independent worker, able to make rational decisions and provide guidance to juniors
• Able to lead a team of 6-8 juniors
