Job summary

A major healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a Senior Executive, OpTech to oversee the procurement and operations of MDOTS and EMS projects. The candidate will ensure compliance with HIM policies and successfully deliver projects on time and within budget, while also managing the IT infrastructure. This role requires a degree in Computer Engineering or related field, plus a minimum of 2 years' experience in project management, with strong analytical and communication skills. Qualifications

Job description

The Senior Executive, OpTech will oversee the successful procurement, evaluation, deployment, maintenance and operation of MDOTS and EMS projects in SingHealth. They will oversee operations to ensure they are compliant to Healthcare Instruction Manual (HIM) and SingHealth policies and processes. He will

• Deliver on MDOTS and EMS workplan and ensure successful deployment and operationalisation of new projects within schedule and budget.
• Implementing a systemic process to evaluate MDOTS’s vulnerability on an ongoing basis and executing risk mitigation activities. Provide essential information to facilitate leadership decisions regarding risk to organisational operations and medical devices across SingHealth.
• Establish intra team activities within and across teams to ensure service delivery and successful deliverance on business objectives and security/IT obligations.
• Provide the necessary consultation and advice to Institutions regarding IT matters for MDOTS so that agencies can make informed decisions and stay aware and aligned to HIM Security policies and standards.
• Establish processes and framework to means to monitor and track compliance and deviations.
• Oversee regular checks to ensure compliance post implementation and during operations.
• Plan and manage budget and work plan for OpsTech managed Projects in respective Institution.
• Participate in work strategic initiatives or adhoc projects as and when directed by Dir IT and GCIO.

Job Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Project Management, IT Infrastructure and Systems service delivery. Those with higher relevant experience will be considered for more senior post.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and IoT/IoMT and the relationship between them is an advantage
• Experience and knowledge of Healthcare/Gov IT, Security and Procurement policies and best practices is an advantage.
