Overview

You will support SingHealth's efforts in Academic Medicine by planning and coordinating training programmes and events organised by the Programme Office for staff across the SingHealth cluster, and co-manage SingHealth Academy's scholarly communication services, overseeing academic resources and the cluster journal's manuscript review process.

As a Senior Executive, your key responsibilities include:

Programme Management
  • Plan, manage and implement programmes and events for stakeholders
  • Set and maintain timelines, monitor progress, and manage deadlines
  • Manage operational and administrative functions to ensure efficient programme delivery
  • Partner with stakeholders to execute promotional strategies and assist with funding applications
  • Manage programme/event revenues and expenses
  • Analyse evaluation reports and determine required actions
  • Ensure effective communication with participants, training partners and stakeholders
Scholarly Communication Services and Support
  • Manage academic resources through collaboration with support staff and key stakeholders
  • Review journal manuscripts and provide acceptance/rejection recommendations with appropriate justifications
  • Assist with editorial board database management and identify gaps in speciality areas
  • Generate publicity ideas to increase journal visibility and manage educational resource subscription contracts
  • Coordinate half-yearly meetings for the editorial board members
Administration and Team Development
  • Support administrative frameworks, analyse operational data, and develop process improvement recommendations
  • Maintain documentation control in line with SOPs and regulatory standards while ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance
  • Support junior staff through regular feedback sessions, mentoring, and identifying development opportunities
