About the role - you will:

• Process Characterization & Troubleshooting: Identify and analyze key process input variables (KPIVs) affecting equipment performance. Map relationships between inputs and outputs (KPOVs) and conduct root‑cause analysis to resolve issues.
• Data Analytics & AI: Utilize data analytics, machine learning, and AI/GenAI tools for advanced troubleshooting and to drive operational efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement: Initiate and implement projects to improve equipment Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), productivity, safety, and cost savings.
• Lean Manufacturing & Safety: Deploy and sustain Lean Manufacturing programs. Support equipment safety initiatives and participate in audits (Customer, QMS, EHS).
• Collaboration & Growth: Work closely with cross‑functional teams, contribute ideas, and embrace opportunities for ongoing learning and career development.

About you:

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, or related discipline.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in computer/IT and mathematics. Experience with data analytics, machine learning, and automation is highly valued.
• Mindset: Self‑motivated, creative thinker with a positive attitude. Effective team player with strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Experience: Fresh graduates are welcome; relevant experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or process improvement is an advantage.

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.
