Job description

    You are looking for a Senior Director of Finance & Operations to lead the finance and operations functions in both India and the US. Based in Bangalore, you will oversee financial planning, accounting, resource utilization analysis, vendor management, and operational coordination. Your responsibilities will include managing the FP&A and Operations team, ensuring smooth operations in both regions.In the US, you will be responsible for overseeing bookkeeping, financial records, invoicing, accounts receivable, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A. You will coordinate with an external accounting firm, manage vendor invoices, and provide financial insights to drive strategic decision-making.In India, you will supervise the FP&A and Operations team, oversee external accounting firms, manage resource utilization, project profitability analysis, and coordinate invoice approvals. You will collaborate with India HR for benefits administration and support growth initiatives, including pricing strategy, financial analysis for fundraising, and process improvements.Your role will also involve managing insurance renewals, IT procurement, vendor management, office support, legal compliance, and customer/vendor contracts. You will work on corporate filings, compliance reporting, and regulatory audits in the US and India.To qualify for this role, you need 15-18 years of experience in finance, accounting, and operations, preferably in a multinational or tech-focused organization. Strong budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A skills are essential, along with experience in managing external accounting firms and vendor coordination.
