A government agency in Singapore seeks a strategic planner to enhance the innovation and startup ecosystem. This role involves developing and reviewing strategies to support local enterprises, aligning with Whole-of-Government initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills, thrive in collaborative environments, and demonstrate initiative. The Innovation Eco-system Development (IED) division drives the effort to grow more innovative Singapore enterprises and strengthen the innovation and enterprise (I&E) ecosystem in Singapore. We also identify, catalyse and drive local and regional opportunities for market-led innovation, while working with various stakeholders in the public and private sector to support the commercialisation of IP/technology.
As part of the Strategy & Planning team under IED, you will support the team’s strategic planning function to chart out and review Enterprise Singapore’s strategies for developing Singapore’s innovation and startup ecosystem, and grow more innovative enterprises. You will also support the team’s programmes and policy initiatives that help our local enterprises and deep tech startups innovate, develop new products for commercialisation, and scale. You will work closely with both public and private sector partners, as well as internal stakeholders, to grow the enterprises and ecosystem, and ensure alignment with Whole-of-Government (WOG) I&E strategies, including the Research, Innovation & Enterprise 2030 (RIE2030) plans.
