Qualifications

Job description

Client = Global PE firm operating across multiple asset classes. Through business need and growth, require a senior lawyer to support on-going transactions and operational matters.

Focus of Work

• Transactional / Advisory: 50%
• Commercial / Operational: 50%

Transactions

• In this newly created role, you will closely with the MD and deal teams on a variety of complex investments, offering legal support and commercial guidance as well as overall project management. This is a hands on role where legal plays an integral part in all transaction related work.
• You will manage stakeholders across multiple layers of each transactions and across the globe.
• As a key member of the commercial team, you will also support the business with legally focused commercial and operational issues.
• You will work closely with external counsel to ensure this support is utilized and managed accordingly.

Requirements

• 8 - 18 PQE (guideline)
• Education to a high level from well known establishments - essential
• Trained in a top tier law firm (US/Magic Circle essential)
• In-House experience in an investment capacity, this could be PE, VC, M&A, Restructuring
• Impeccable communication skills with the ability to work with internal and external parties from all over the world
• Can run complex transactions, enjoy the managerial path and thrive when surrounded by challenging / rewarding day to day discussions
