Our client is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer (SCADA & Data Analytics) to join their team!

As a Senior Controls Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our manufacturing processes and data analytics capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create powerful dashboards and analytics tools that drive informed decision-making and predictive maintenance.

About Our Client

Our client is a leader in contact lens manufacturing, is renowned for its precision craftsmanship and dedication to enhancing people's vision. With a presence in Singapore, Menicon is at the forefront of developing advanced technologies and products with value-added features.

Other Information:

• Working Day: 5 days (Mon-Fri)
• Working Hour: 8am-5pm/9am-6pm
• Working Location: Jurong East
• Salary Range: $4,500-$6,500 (Depends on experience)

What you'll be doing?

• Design SCADA Solutions: Configure and implement SCADA solutions using Ignition Vision and Perspective modules.
• Integrate Systems: Seamlessly integrate SCADA with PLCs, sensors, OPC servers, databases, and various industrial protocols.
• Data Visualization: Build and customize data visualization dashboards within Ignition using Jython (Python) and SQL to support operations, engineering, and maintenance teams.
• Analytics Implementation: Implement analytics for downtime, OEE, and root cause analysis.
• Predictive Maintenance: Develop frameworks to detect anomalies and trigger predictive maintenance using equipment and sensor data.

Who are they looking for?

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required.
• Experience: 3 years of experience with SCADA systems development using Ignition with data knowledge of Ignition Tag Historian, Reporting, Vision, and Perspective modules.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in designing data visualization tools and building intuitive dashboards.
• Programming Skills: Proficient in Python (Jython) and SQL for scripting, data queries, and logic building.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of OEE and SPC is essential.
