Senior Contracts Manager

Work Location: Changi, Project Office Lavender area

Working days: 5.5 days 8am to 5pm, alt sat full day

Salary: $8000 to $10000 (depends on experience)

Job Description
  • Involve in Leadership & Team Management to lead, mentor, and develop the contracts team to achieve departmental and project goals.
  • Allocate resources effectively and ensure high performance across contract administration and tendering functions.
  • Involve in Contract Management, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Draft, review, and manage contractual correspondence and agreements, and maintain accurate records and document registers.
  • Collaborate with project teams to resolve contractual issues.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks while safeguarding the firm’s interests.
  • Manage claims, variations, and dispute resolution processes.
  • Involve in Tendering & Business Development by directing the preparation, review, and submission of tenders for new projects.
  • Analyze tender documents, specifications, and drawings to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and technical teams to develop competitive bids.
  • Support strategic business growth by securing profitable projects.
  • Involve in Overall Commercial Oversight to monitor project budgets, cash flow, and financial performance related to contracts.
  • Provide commercial advice to senior management and project teams.
  • Ensure timely invoicing, payment collection, and contract close-out.
  • Involve in Stakeholder Engagement to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Represent the firm in negotiations and industry forums.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for contractual matters.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in contract management within the construction industry. Proven track record in leading contract teams and managing tenders for large-scale projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction law, procurement practices, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and the MS Office Suite.
