Qualifications

• Fulfilling duties of a Qualified Person (QP) as defined under the Building Control Act.

Job description

• Responsible for leading the execution of projects in alignment with defined requirements. This includes reviewing designs, specifications, calculations, and other technical submissions, as well as overseeing project assessment phases.
• The engineer ensures that all designs and models comply with project specifications, leads tendering processes, and manages a team of engineers to drive ongoing performance improvement.
• Fulfilling the duties of a Qualified Person (QP) as defined under the Building Control Act.
• Demonstrates strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and sound decision-making skills.
• Well-versed in civil and structural engineering practices and has solid project management expertise.
• Strong leadership capabilities and effective communication skills are essential for this role.
• The position requires flexibility to work both in-office and on project sites.

Requirements

• Recognized Degree in Building Construction Management, Civil and/or Structural Engineering, building discipline or equivalent preferable.
• Minimum 5-7 years experience in the Singapore Construction Industry, high‑rise commercial building / mixed development / semiconductor factory / healthcare building project is preferred.
• Knowledge in BIM
