Job summary

A leading procurement firm in Singapore is looking for a Procurement Specialist to handle end-to-end procurement processes and manage supplier relationships. The ideal candidate has a diploma and 1-2 years of purchasing experience, especially in contract manufacturing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential. This position offers a dynamic work environment focused on improving procurement efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing and price negotiations.
  • Evaluate and procure materials based on MRP requirements.
  • Follow up with vendors to align material deliveries with production schedules.
  • Collaborate with supply chain planning teams for customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee inventory levels and stock parameters as defined by management.
  • Manage supplier relationships for quality and timely delivery.

Job description
Responsibilities:
  • Carry out end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, RFQs, price negotiations, shipping coordination, and delivery follow-ups.
  • Evaluate and procure materials, components, and equipment based on MRP requirements.
  • Follow up and expedite material deliveries with vendors to align with production schedules, and address any delays or rescheduling needs.
  • Collaborate closely with supply chain planning teams to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee inventory levels and regularly review stocking parameters as defined by management.
  • Coordinate with logistics providers on shipment bookings, tracking, and customs clearance procedures.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance in quality, timely delivery, and inventory control.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, including vendor setup, database updates, and matching/submitting of PO, delivery notes, and invoices to Finance.
  • Handle return merchandise authorization (RMA) and non-conforming items (NCT) with suppliers.
  • Implement and support cost‑saving initiatives and procurement efficiency plans.
  • Interpret and analyze Bills of Materials (BOM) to support procurement and planning needs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in any fields
  • Minimum 1-2 years of purchasing experience in contract manufacturer companies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Words and Excel)
  • Good Communication, negotiation, problem solving and sourcing skills
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
