Job description
Senior Boiler Technician

Location(s): Singapore - Singapore

Role type: Full-time

About the Role:

As a CBRE Maintenance Sr. Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining medium to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.

This role will support sitewide routine operation and maintenance (ad hoc, corrective and preventive maintenance) to clean and black utilities systems such as steam boilers, air compressors, chillers & cooling towers, air handling units, water softeners, purified water (RO & WFI), and wastewater systems. They may also be required to support power reset for the electrical distribution system.

All the tasks will be done in compliance with cGMP, EHS, Data Integrity, and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do:
  • Attend to technical matters and assists with the inspections on the facilities
  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and company directives as relates to building operations and practice safe work habits
  • Ensure can always contact to respond and attend to emergency breakdown within two hour upon notification
  • Provide hands‑on operation of facilities equipment and systems, where qualified or under instruction, in accordance with procedures and policies
  • Perform maintenance on facilities equipment and systems as appropriate to knowledge, skills, and certifications/licenses
  • Respond to complaints regarding ACMV, electrical, fire and plumbing systems and equipment.
  • Supervise/Perform in‑house preventive maintenance work and supervise preventive maintenance work by external service vendors in accordance to PM checklist, and proper documentation of service report
  • Responsible for the up‑keeping of building such as painting, lighting fittings, ACMV services, doors, furniture and fittings, road, grounds of facility or building
  • Provide daily operation support and update daily report, use Client’s CMMS system on work order reporting
  • Participate in problem solving discussions with cross‑functional team to identify / define and root cause, evaluate alternative solutions, and develop action plans.
  • Execute the routine maintenance for the site in a timely manner and in compliance with Engineering standards and safety procedures.
  • Complete training provided to build‑up the competencies.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing desired results/KPIs.
  • All GMP documentation related to maintenance activities is completed accurately and processed to full completion in compliance to data integrity requirement.
  • Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by utilities engineer including but not limited to the above.
What You'll Need:
  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering.
  • Boiler Certificate Class 1 / 2
  • At least 1 year of working experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of facilities and utilities systems and process equipment related validation / GMP requirements.
  • Displaying exceptional communication, interpersonal, and information technology skills.
  • Team player who is also able to perform independently.
  • Able to multitask and work within tight deadlines.
