Job description

Senior Development Engineer (7–10 Years Experience)

A rapidly growing global payments and fintech organization is expanding its engineering footprint in Singapore and building a new Client Platform hub. The team is seeking experienced .NET Development Engineers who combine strong technical expertise with a product-focused mindset. This Singapore unit will be central to advancing Web3 initiatives and strengthening API capabilities across the APAC region.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the full software development lifecycle — including requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Build and enhance business‑critical, high‑volume payments and digital asset products where performance, security, and reliability are essential.
  • Work on client‑facing APIs, UIs, and internal automation tools, collaborating closely with business stakeholders and external partners.
  • Develop on a modern tech stack including .NET (C#), REST APIs, MSSQL, Active/Active microservices, unit & E2E testing, Git & Azure DevOps, solution design, and Kubernetes deployments.
  • Join one of two specialist domains depending on experience:
    • Web3 / Stablecoin – focused on emerging payment technologies and digital asset flows.
    • Payments API – scaling and improving core payment and reporting products.
  • Help shape the APAC engineering strategy as part of an early founding team in Singapore, working with global engineering colleagues.
Who We’re Looking For
  • 7–10 years of professional experience in software development, ideally with strong skills in .NET, distributed systems, microservices, MSSQL, and API design.
  • Strong problem‑solving ability, high ownership, and a product‑centric mindset.
  • Experience working in high‑availability, high‑throughput environments is a plus.\
  • Prior exposure to payments, cross‑border transaction flows, or Web3/stablecoin integrations is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working with distributed teams.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred, but equivalent experience is also valued.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid model and engaging regularly in the office to support collaboration.
What to Expect
  • A global, multicultural environment with colleagues across multiple countries.
  • Opportunities to build new APAC‑focused platforms from the ground up.
  • A workplace that values continuous improvement, technical excellence, and innovation in payments and Web3.
